Do I need previous experience with tantric massage?
No. Previous experience with tantric massage is not required. More important to us are your respectful attitude towards the human body and intimacy, empathy, reliability and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
Do I need a massage course or professional qualification?
A previous massage course or professional practice is not essential. However, experience with massage, yoga, therapeutic work, conscious bodywork or Eastern philosophies is a welcome advantage.
Does TANMAYA offer a tantric massage course for beginners?
Yes. For new tantric massage therapists, we provide a professional tantric massage course in the Deep Touch® technique. Step by step, the course introduces you to tantric bodywork, conscious touch and the techniques required to provide tantric massages.
What qualities and attributes do you expect from applicants?
We primarily look for perceptive, empathetic and reliable people with a pleasant manner and a respectful attitude towards the human body and intimacy. Responsibility, the ability to create a safe space and maintain clear boundaries, and a desire to learn and grow professionally are also important.
Is English required for cooperation?
Knowledge of English is an advantage but not a requirement. It will help you communicate with our international clients, although you can gradually learn the necessary vocabulary and style of communication.
What will I do as a tantric massage therapist?
You will provide individual and couples tantric massages as well as signature rituals, prepare the massage room and create a safe and pleasant atmosphere for clients. The cooperation also includes communication with reception and ensuring that the space is clean and ready after every tantric massage.
Can I cooperate with TANMAYA only a few days a week?
Yes. We also welcome part-time cooperation. You can therefore combine cooperation with TANMAYA® with employment or work in another field. We will discuss the specific scope of cooperation and your availability with you personally.
Do I have to find clients myself?
No. You will not be starting from scratch or without professional support. TANMAYA® is an established tantric centre with more than twenty years of tradition, stable operations and a long-standing client base. This allows you to focus solely on the quality of tantric massage and client care.
What support will TANMAYA provide during our cooperation?
You will gain the professional facilities of an established tantric centre, marketing support, cooperation with reception and opportunities for further education in tantric massage. You will become part of an experienced team united by the values of trust, presence, respect and authenticity.
How does the selection process work?
First, send us information about yourself, your photograph and your motivation for cooperation. We will then be happy to meet you in person, introduce TANMAYA, our philosophy, our way of working and the cooperation options, and answer your questions.
What should I send with my application for cooperation?

How does TANMAYA approach safety and personal boundaries?
Safety, respect and clearly defined boundaries are among the core values of our work. We expect every tantric massage therapist to create a safe space for the client while working in accordance with their own boundaries, the centre’s standards and a professional approach.
Can I take part in creating videos or articles?
Yes. If you have the interest and talent, you can also contribute to content for TANMAYA – for example, by recording short videos or writing articles about tantric massage, conscious touch and your practice. Content creation is not, however, the main focus of the cooperation.
Where is the TANMAYA studio located?
The TANMAYA studio is located in the attractive and easily accessible Prague 5 – Anděl area. It offers a calm, refined and professionally equipped environment for individual and couples tantric massages.
Is the cooperation also suitable for foreigners living in Prague?
Yes. The cooperation is also suitable for foreigners living in Prague, provided they can obtain a valid Czech business identification number (IČO). To communicate with clients and our team, you must speak at least one of the following languages: Czech or English.
Does TANMAYA® offer a tantric massage course or training?
Yes. We provide comprehensive TANMAYA® Level I and II professional tantric massage training, which is also suitable for beginners. You will learn the fundamentals of conscious touch, working with breath and energy, conducting opening and closing conversations, creating a safe space, full-body oil massage and sensual tantra massage, aromatherapy, working with hot towels and lava stones, and sensitive intimate techniques including yoni massage and lingam massage. The training also covers working with your own boundaries, mental hygiene and a professional approach to clients.
How does professional training for tantric massage therapists work?
Professional tantric massage training at TANMAYA Prague takes place individually or in a small group of no more than four future tantric massage therapists, depending on how many new team members we are accepting. You learn the individual tantric massage techniques in practice on a male or female model provided for the course. You then continue practising all the techniques covered directly at our tantric centre in Prague, in the facilities of a professional tantric massage studio.
How long does the tantric massage course and training take?
The length of the professional tantric massage course depends on your availability and chosen pace. In the intensive option, for example, you can complete five hours of instruction followed by three hours of practical training after a break in one day. At this pace, the course can be completed in approximately 14 days. You can also choose a more gradual option, such as three six-hour training days supplemented by practice on free days or in the afternoons. In that case, the training takes approximately three weeks.
Is the tantric massage course paid?
Yes. The professional tantric massage course is paid. If you sign an agreement with TANMAYA® for 18 months of subsequent cooperation, you can complete the discounted training for CZK 35,000. The package includes 40 hours of professional individual instruction with a female instructor, another 40 hours of space for practical training in one of our luxurious massage rooms, all necessary equipment, your own three-hour experiential Royal Tantric Massage, and professional photographs and videos for your presentation. The standard price of this package without a cooperation commitment is CZK 108,000. You do not have to pay for the tantric massage course in advance – the first instalment is due only in the month after you complete it. You can therefore pay the instalments from your earnings for tantric massages whose bookings we arrange for you at our TANMAYA Prague centre.
Can I complete the course without subsequent cooperation?
Yes. You can complete the professional tantric massage course without subsequently cooperating with TANMAYA® Prague. If you decide during the discounted training that you will not enter into cooperation after all, you may finish the course and receive a certificate. You can then pay the course price in monthly instalments of CZK 3,500 in accordance with the concluded education agreement.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes. After successfully completing the professional tantric massage course, you will receive a TANMAYA® training certificate. The certificate confirms that you have completed the instruction and practical training in tantric massage techniques to the extent defined by the course.
What will I learn during tantric massage training?
During the professional training, you will learn to guide a tantric massage from the opening conversation and creation of a safe space through to the client’s final relaxation. You will master conscious touch, working with breath and energy, sensual massage and full-body oil massage, aromatherapy, hot towels and lava stones, and sensitive intimate techniques including yoni massage and lingam massage. The course also covers client communication, working with boundaries, hygiene and the mental hygiene of a tantric massage therapist.
Does the course include practical training?
Yes. Practical training is an essential part of the tantric massage course. Under the guidance of a female instructor, you learn each technique on a male or female model whom we provide for the training or whom you bring yourself. In addition to 40 hours of professional instruction, the discounted training package includes 40 hours of space for independent practice at our TANMAYA Prague centre, including the necessary massage equipment.
Do I have to undress or receive intimate touch during the training?
No. During professional tantric massage training, you do not have to undress or receive intimate touch. You learn the practical techniques on a male or female model whom we provide for the course. The training package also includes your own three-hour experiential Royal Tantric Massage, but its course always respects your personal boundaries and the scope of touch agreed in advance.
Practical information
What does a typical day for a tantric massage therapist look like?
You tell us in advance which days you are available, and clients then see your availability in our online booking system. Our reception arranges tantric massage bookings for you. You do not have to wait at the studio throughout your entire availability, but once a booking is made, you must be able to arrive at the TANMAYA Prague centre within 60 minutes. If you prefer, you may stay at the studio between bookings.
What types of tantric massage will I provide?
You will provide tantric massages lasting from 90 to 300 minutes. At TANMAYA Prague, we offer individual tantric massages, couples tantric massages and four-hand tantric massages. You do not need to worry if you do not yet know some techniques – we will teach you everything required during the professional tantric massage training and subsequent practical practice.
Can I choose whether I massage men, women or couples?
New female tantric massage therapists begin with massages for men and for the male partner in a couple. If you have the required experience, a suitable approach and an interest in further development, you may later expand your services to include tantric massages for women. As part of the cooperation, we will teach you the necessary techniques free of charge in addition to the basic professional tantric massage course.
Heterosexual male tantric massage therapists provide tantric massages to women, gay therapists to men, and bisexual therapists may massage both men and women. Depending on their orientation and focus, they may also take part in couples and four-hand tantric massages. We teach the techniques required to expand the service offer free of charge in addition to the basic professional course.
Can I choose which techniques and rituals I want to provide?
The content of the basic tantric massage at TANMAYA® Prague is defined and follows the consistent standards of our centre. Some specialised services are optional, however. These include Dark tantric massage, which is provided only by massage therapists who are interested in it and complete the required supplementary course.
How are personal boundaries and rules defined during tantric massage?
Every tantric massage at TANMAYA Prague takes place within a clearly defined professional framework. The massage therapist explains the course of the ritual, the available touch and its boundaries to the client in advance. The client remains in the receiving role – tantric massage is not an exchange of touch, flirting or an opportunity to arrange private meetings. The massage therapist always decides the extent of their nudity and the techniques provided according to their own boundaries and sense of safety.
What if a client does not respect the massage therapist’s boundaries?
If a client crosses the agreed boundaries of tantric massage, the massage therapist first clearly reminds them of the tantric massage rules. If the client repeats the inappropriate behaviour or the therapist does not feel safe, the therapist has the right to end the massage immediately and contact reception. The safety of our team members always takes priority over continuing the massage.
Is tantric massage at TANMAYA an erotic service?
No. Tantric massage at TANMAYA is neither an erotic nor a sexual service and does not include sexual intercourse or any form of sexual or erotic exchange. It is a conscious care ritual that works with the whole body, breath, sensuality and sexual energy as a natural life force. Tantric massage also includes intimate massage, but always within a professional framework, with respect and according to the defined tantric massage procedure. The client remains in the receiving role throughout.
How does TANMAYA ensure the safety of massage therapists?
Before their visit, we inform clients about the rules of tantric massage, the receiving role and the boundaries of touch. During professional training, massage therapists learn how to conduct an opening conversation, set boundaries clearly and respond to inappropriate behaviour. If a problem occurs, they may end the massage and contact our reception. We also emphasise mutual trust, discretion and respect for the personal boundaries of every team member.
Will I be alone at the studio during my shift?
TANMAYA® is a larger tantric centre with five luxurious massage rooms and a reception, so other massage therapists may be working at the studio at the same time. A receptionist is available in the afternoons. During less busy periods, however, you may occasionally be alone in the premises with a client. Throughout your availability, you remain in contact with reception, which manages bookings and which you can contact whenever necessary.
What hygiene standards must massage therapists follow?
Before every tantric massage, the massage room must be clean, aired and prepared for the new client. Clean linen, sarongs, towels and hygienically treated massage equipment are used. The massage therapist maintains personal hygiene, clean hands and safe handling of oils and equipment, especially during intimate techniques. After the massage, used linen is removed, equipment is cleaned and the space is prepared for the next booking according to TANMAYA hygiene standards.
Will I have my own profile on the TANMAYA website?
Yes. Every cooperating tantric massage therapist receives their own profile on the TANMAYA website and in our online booking system. The profile allows clients to view your photographs, read about your approach and choose you for their tantric massage. A professionally prepared profile is essential for attracting bookings.
Does TANMAYA provide professional photographs and presentation for massage therapists?
Yes. We arrange the professional presentation of tantric massage therapists in cooperation with a leading photographer and a team of experienced make-up artists. We prepare photographs and videos that match the TANMAYA style and present you to clients naturally, professionally and attractively. We then use them to create your profile on our website and in the booking system.
Is further training available at TANMAYA?
Yes. We support the professional development of our tantric massage therapists. Depending on your interests, you can complete advanced and supplementary courses, learn additional tantric massage techniques and gradually expand the range of services you provide.
Do you require a minimum cooperation period?
If you complete the professional tantric massage course at the discounted price and also receive professional photographs and videos from us as part of the cooperation, the cooperation is agreed for 18 months. You may end it earlier, but you must repay the proportional part of the discount or benefit provided in accordance with the contract.
If you pay the full course price, we do not require a minimum cooperation period. A three-month notice period applies in both cases.
Can I also cooperate with another massage studio?
During your cooperation with TANMAYA, you may not simultaneously provide tantric massages through another massage or tantric studio in Prague. The specific cooperation terms and competitive restrictions are set out in the contract.
How can cooperation with TANMAYA be terminated?
You can terminate cooperation with TANMAYA by written notice. The standard notice period is three months. If you used the discounted price of the professional course, photographs or videos provided as part of the 18-month cooperation, you must repay the proportional part of the benefit provided if you end the cooperation early, in accordance with the contract.
