An experience only for the brave?
If there is trust and harmony in your relationship, there’s nothing to fear. A tantric massage is a ritual of honoring the body, and your bond may actually deepen through this shared experience. In tantra, everything that feels good and natural is allowed.
The ritual takes place on futons. At first, you are gently wrapped in a sari, which the masseur or masseuse gradually removes. Warm oil massage, the application of heated towels, and caresses with feathers all are part of the tantric ritual. How far you allow the experience to go is entirely up to you. From our own experience, we recommend surrendering to the present moment and not resisting even the intimate massage (after all, that’s what tantra is about, isn’t it?). If you’re still unsure, you can try it for the first time alone or with a friend.
