Tantric Massages on Novinky.cz

01.08.2024
The article by Michaela Cmíralová introduces readers to the essence and significance of tantric massage as a conscious and deeply experiential ritual that has nothing to do with erotic services. Through the insights of masseuses Michaela Lynnette Torstenová and Anna, we learn how tantric massage helps release tension, awaken self-awareness, and heal sexual and emotional blockages. The text highlights the benefits for both women and men, describes the ritual structure of the massage, and offers inspiration for couples seeking deeper intimacy and new experiences. It also emphasizes the spiritual dimension of tantra and the importance of embracing arousal as a natural part of life.

Tantric massage is not a sexual practice or an erotic service. Tantra is about releasing the body and mind and consciously experiencing sexual energy. It teaches us that arousal is not taboo.

“Most people today treat sex like a fast-food meal. Everything has to be quick and immediate. Tenderness and intimacy have vanished from sexuality, and it has become a physical performance in which people mainly worry about how they look, how long they last, and how many acrobatic positions they can switch between in the shortest possible time,” says tantric masseuse Anna. “We should learn to experience our sexuality in a way that allows us to draw energy from one intense experience for an entire week.”

That is exactly what tantric massage aims to teach you. During the session – which lasts two hours or more – you have time to relax fully, experience your sensations, and learn to work with your arousal consciously. “For many women, the massage fulfills their dreams. Not all partners have the time or sensitivity to give women the attention they long for. Most women desire to be cherished, cared for, to have someone gently stroke their hair or massage their feet,” explains Bc. Michaela Lynnette Torstenová, founder of the tantric center.

Men learn purposelessness

According to Bc. Michaela Lynnette Torstenová, men discover purposelessness through tantric massage. “They learn that not everything has to lead somewhere or have a result – that things can simply flow, and that in itself can be a powerful experience.” In tantric massage, the client takes the role of the receiver and gets the rare opportunity to experience what it’s like to be pampered for hours.

Everyone finds something different in tantric massage. “Today, about sixty-five percent of our clients are men, but the number of women is steadily growing,” says Torstenová. It’s not only about relaxation – the massage can also have healing effects. It helps men with erectile difficulties and women who experience pain during intercourse due to a lack of arousal. “On a spiritual level, tantric massage seeks to raise sexual energy to the higher chakras – the body’s energy centers. It strives to unite sexuality with spirituality,” Torstenová explains.

Tantric massage is not sex

The massages do not include mutual contact, sex, or any other kind of special practice – yet not all clients understand this. “From time to time, someone comes with different expectations. With such a person, we say goodbye right at the door,” says Torstenová.

A tantric massage begins with a standing ritual, continues with a dry (oil-free) massage and sensitivity awakening using feathers, towels, and furs, followed by an oil massage. The session culminates with the massage of intimate areas. “It’s about accepting sexuality as part of who we are – realizing that it’s not something bad or shameful. Arousal is a natural aspect of our being,” explains Torstenová.

Massages for couples

You can also enjoy a tantric massage as a couple. It deepens mutual trust and, according to Anna, can bring new inspiration to your relationship. “Recently, I received an email from a couple from Portugal who visited us. They chose a version where the session begins with a ritual of awakening the senses. The clients are blindfolded and stimulated with sounds, scents, and music. Their taste buds are awakened with fruit and chocolate, and only then does the long massage begin. In their email, they wrote that after the tantric massage, the woman began to perceive her body differently. She rediscovered her beauty and sensuality and started to appreciate herself more – which positively reflected in her relationship.”
